MARCO FERRERI was born on February 26 1958 in Imperia and took his degree in architecture in 1981 at the
Polytechnic Institute in Milan, where he still lives and works. He has worked with Marco Zanuso, Angelo Mangiarotti and Bruno Munari. His design work spans everything from industrial design to graphics, from architecture to installations. Many of his objects are included in important design collections such as the “Permanent Design Collection” of the Modern Art Museum in New York (MoMA), the permanent design collection of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the collection of the National Contemporary Art Fund in Paris and prestigious private collections. He has held lessons and taught courses in important schools and universities in Italy and abroad. His works have been presented at the 9th Architecture Biennale in Venice and at the 1st International Architecture Biennale in Beijing, China. In 2010 the Triennale in Milan held an important monographic exhibition featuring his work.
