Bardelli District - The new Design Area

  • Every year, for a week, Milan opens its doors to the world with its Design Week. During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the streets of Milan get dressed in design, hosting events and happenings in different areas of the city. This year also Ceramica Bardelli was indisputable protagonist of the Fuorisalone 2019, creating a new design district, the Bardelli District. Four exceptional locations for four interior design projects, characterized by the same love for tailor made and made in Italy. A new way to discover Bardelli products, thanks to the collaboration with important names belonging to the Italian and international design.

  • In quality of main partner Ceramica Bardelli attended the event Les Arcanistes - The future is un/written by Studiopepe. LesArcanistes was the new manifesto project of Studiopepe for the Milan Design Week 2019.

    Inside a large industrial space, which was used in the 1900s for the manufacturing of gold takes place an investigation into the strong interconnection between matter and the archetypal power of symbols. In collaboration with partnering companies, the studio has utilized its characteristic multidisciplinary approach and creative vision to create a journey marked by designer and bespoke pieces, new editions of historic pieces, artists’ multiples, a wunderkammer of materials, a sequence of installation spaces that open up into a vast hall which acts as a backdrop to showcase the rituality of contemporary living.

     

    Ceramica Bardelli presented a preview of the Primitiva collection created in collaboration with Studiopepe.

  • On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2019, Makeyourhome Studio imagined turning Ca'Ventiquattro, an old apartment, into an elegant Milanese home, drawing inspiration from the city, its hospitality and its glorious past. The restructuring project, curated by the architect Roberta Borrelli, creative director of Makeyourhome Studio, sees Ceramica Bardelli among its protagonists, as the only manufacturer of ceramic tiles in the Milanese hinterland. Ca'ventiquattro, apartment on the second floor of a building among the few still able to tell the historical identity of one of the districts of Milan that more than others has experienced the great contemporary architectural evolution, will soon be transformed into an Air Bnb Plus belonging to the design circuit.

  • Ceramica Bardelli took part to Smart Design Hotel with its Lines and Palladiana collection. Smart Design Hotel is the first Italian hub dedicated to the world of hotel design, which hosted the simulation of a hotel facility in Via del Carmine in Brera during the Design Week 2019, where new products and tailor-made designs gave life to the first capsule collection designed for the interiors of medium and large-sized hotels.
    The creative direction of the project, given to Pierluigi Fucci Design, have aimed at promoting a dialogue between different products, materials and expertise, with the goal of creating the first design collection, specific for the hotels.

  • Ceramica Bardelli attended the  a MATERICA - The beautiful side of design, in collaboration with Marie Claire Maison.

    The set-up developed by Marie Claire Maison's team and àr-o studio involved the design of a fully furnished architecture, where beauty has been celebrated as an expression of design. The location - a housing module on two floors including a terrace - and the strategic location - right at the entrance of SuperStudio Più, in Via Tortona - has made the event particularly relevant in the dense Fuorisalone scheduling.

    Ceramica Bardelli was present inside the furnishing project - a housing module on two floors including a terrace- with some of its most iconic collections. Lines, designed by Storage Milano, with its concrete texture and metal inserts, combines the practicality of ceramics with an exclusive and precious aesthetic. Pittorica, designed by Studiopepe, combines the classic beauty of ceramic tiles with unusual sizes, silky finishes and graphic textures.
